CPC PERIODIC TRAINING COURSE

From September 2009 if you drive a bus, coach or lorry for a living you must hold a Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (Driver CPC).

Driver CPC has been introduced throughout the European Union. Its aim is to maintain high standards of driving and improve road safety. Driver CPC covers anyone who drives buses, coaches and minibuses with nine or more passenger seats, and lorries weighing over 3.5 tonnes, for a living.

Safe and Fuel Efficient Driving
Emergency First Aid and Roadside Safety
Emergency First Aid, Basic Fire Safety, Use of Extinguishers
Drivers Hours, Tachographs & Vehicle Checks

Course Cost

Prices from £80 per driver per course. There is no pass or fail element to the training courses. You can attend the same course more than once.

Upkeep

To maintain the Driver CPC, you will need to do at least 35 hours of periodic training in each five-year period. The 5 years starts from the date you passed CPC Module 4.

Test Time

All drivers must complete 35 hours every five years on an on-going cycle to keep driving for a living. We offer 7-hour courses to help you on your way to completing your hours.
